1-ply silicone hose works the best and will last but it's very expensive.
That's why you put flex loom in critical places where this can happen, just like stock. IME it's only the cooling line from the head to the bottom of the head pipe.

I have gotten goodyear air hose and some blue air hose; been using the same pieces for last 2 years. They don't rub if you route them right!!
