Controlling pitch while in air

I finally got a reliable ski (16 SJ) and now im going into the ocean (port aransas ship port). Im hitting tanker wake and getting nice air. The only problem is that i have poor pitch control.
What all can be done to control in air pitch? On a dirtbike i hit the brakes to bring nose down or gas to lift the front..
When i jump i tend to get my nose real high when i leave the water

Either put weight towards the front of the tray before you leave the wake and or blip the throttle right before you leave the wake. More you lean back the more the nose is going to rise.
Nothing you can really do in the air will change your pitch after you leave the water if jumping.

Foot holds help because you can lift the back up or push the nose down while staying in the tray. Lifter wedges are a quick easy alternative that glue in and can give you just enough extra control until you need foot holds.

You don't need holds or wedges for what you want to do. Like others said, timing is important, but for the price and ease of install I'd look at some wedges.
