Looking at freestyle cones like Wamiltons and WW.
Are these worth it to get a little more bottom end?
How are they installed? Can you just pull the three stock bolt, fill the cone with waterproof grease, grease the o-ring and reinstall?
Or do you need to pull the pump?
Thanks!

I have one in my RN, had one in the SXIPro, and put one in the B1. Your install directions are right on the money. If you have small hands(or have a son or daughter that help you wrench)there is no need to remove anything except the stock cone, you can reach right in the nozzle.

nah you dont need to do anything special to install you got it, just get some socket extensions to get in there. About peformance, it all depends, I couldnt really tell with mine, I may take it off mid day and see if I can notice a difference, lots of factors tho.

These type of mods by themselves rarly make a huge difference. It's all about the cumulative effect. Keep updating your ski with all the "little" mods and it will all add up to something really noticeable.

Cones are popular because they are marketable. I have found much better thrust from a Protec nozzle bored to 85MM with the stock cone. Its clear that this industry has poor leadership, and riders don't know the difference.

honestly, a cone does not always work, it all depends on your setup.
for me, it did not work, I am running a bored nozzle, for others, it does work with a bored nozzle. Prop setup, motor setup all effects whether it will work for you or not.
