Freestyle Compression difference when changing altitude? Lil help!?

I'm hoping to ride Sacramento this Sunday, but am wondering if I am OK still running premium fuel? av gas, race gas mix I dunno???

My current elevation is 4,900 feet and Sac is just a tad above sea level. Current compression is 174 psi. ADA girdled, b-pipe, enhancer bla bla...

You're probably not ok on premium if you're blowing 174 at 5,000ft.
What size are the domes?

you might gain close to 35psi according to above thread post #5...So you might be near 209 psi...fyi.

Dont mean to thread jack but I have a question along the same lines. I currently live about 7 miles from the beach and ride only surf. I have a protec head and run about 185psi this summer I am planning on going on vacation and Maybe bring my ski. I am going back to my home town in washington (under 900ft) not a big deal but then plan to go to lake car d'lane ID which is about 2500. On the trip I could stop a places as high as 4000ft.
will I be fine just less power. or am I going to have issues all together and need to retune my carb for it. I only have a mukuni 44 right now

You may need to lean out the low & high adjusters at altitude.
