Coming out of retirement

New to this forum and I Just wanted to introduce myself. I quit riding my ski in 98 when I was shot in the back during a robbery. Now I want to get back to riding. I started riding my dirtbike again last year and really never concidered my skis much cause I always take my boat to the lake. After seeing more and more standups at the lake I figure I would drag my skis out and get them tuned up and ready to go. Before I quit I rode a few times a week and was pretty decent at all of the tricks. My ski is a 96 superjet it was the first one in AZ I ordered it the week after they debuted the new design in 95 at the world finals. It has footholds and handholds in it. I also have a few 550s. I guess we will see ya out there, and I hope I can still ride.

I don't think they had anyway to adjust trim when I quit. You guys will have to get me up to speed. Oh and I have a 760 kit sitting in my garage just never installed it.

OK so does everyone has some sort of adjustable trim? Oh and what else has changed on the freestyle boats since I rode last?

i think wammer and blowsion, as well as other companies make tilt trim kits, and some people make their own out of x2 or waveraider parts...

the trim is activated by a lever on the bars to tilt the nozzle up (for racing they would turn the nozzle down at starts or in turns to push the bow down) to help with backflips and other tricks...when you release the lever, the nozzle returns to stock..

They had scuppers when I quit but my ski doesnt have one. I have 2 bildge pums and my front holes sealed. I never had a problem getting water out.
