Super Jet Cleaning up a yellowed SJ gas tank?

Has anyone had any luck trying to clean up the tank and if so with what?

Can't get yellow out but a mr clean magic eraser works great to clean one up.

Thx Mcdog, I just poured over the net and got the same feeling, nothing takes the yellowing out but you can clean it up with a few things.

Agree you can't get the yellow out, but you can dye it. Had a yellowing tank on my shifter kart and we put it in a lobster pot with water and ritz dye and simmered it on the stove. Worked well.

The yellowing is on the surface. Look inside one and you won't see the yellowing. I cleaned an old one up a while back. Laquer thinner for the grease then sanded it. Looks ok now.

Anyone tried sandblasting/bead it?
