Hmm interesting everything in my electrical system has been replaced and this is the second cdi that I've been through

Stock or aftermarket? Stock is rare to go bad, even rarer to do it repeatedly.

Yea the first was stock and the second was an oem replacement. I just order an aftermarket and I'm running my own ground from the block to the e box for safe measure. I do have lightened flywheel and aftermarket stator and coil.
