I asked this question a while back and I believe the 760 carbs are considered the lean burn carbs. They are also considered the 3 hole version with the #160 throttle plate and considered by many to be the hardest to tune. They have fine pitch adjustment screws unlike all the other carbs. The single 44's on the 61x/61x should be 3 hole as well but have the #120 throttle plate and supposedly easier to tune. The carbs that come directly from Mikuni these days are 4 hole carbs and meter better. If you aren't familiar with 3 hole vs 4 hole, it refers to the number of tiny pin holes that are in line just below the throttle plate.
they look like 38s, in fact i measured them and they measure 38, but they are not the same carbs as on a superjet, is it the throttle plate that is 44mm?
