Other carbon fiber reacting with metals?

ok, I know carbon fiber and aluminum don't mix when salt is introduced, What about other metals? Brass? stainless? Im about to build a carbon hull for myself and don't want issues. This will be the last hull I build for myself, I plan to keep it for a long time. It will only see salt 4 times a year, Im mainly worried about bonding inserts and cooling and trim lines.

Thanks

couldnt you use pvc for the cooling and trim lines? i've heard of others doing it on stock SJ's when they add a trim line. i know its not the nicest thing to use, but you probably wouldnt see any issues with it.

I guess so, we use pvc conduit for the steering line tube since the threaded fitting screws right on the yamama fitting. we also use it for the driveshaft tube. Cooling and trim we use 1/2 pex, the brass fittings look nice when done right. The shoulder on the pex fitting leaves a clean edge where it passes through the hull.

Nice/old/short thread.
Ive been playing with carbon, metal and parts since long time ago and a couple days ago I got a nice explanation about CARBON X ALLUMINUM FIGHT.
