Carbon build up

Or lack there of.
I have been running this motor for a few hours and am seeing almost zero color change of the piston. Basically no carbon build up at all. Is this a bad thing? Running 32:1 right now for break in.

What engine? I have zero carbon in my engine after three years. Amsoil and the coating on my pistons keeps it too slippery for carbon to hang around!

Just some cheap auto zone oil. It is tcw3. I will be going to klotz. The other oil was for break in

Are you running race or pump gas?

Pump gas. 190 psi .046" squish, 107.5 main 130 pilot,1.8 needle seat, 22 psi popoff, 38.5 cc domes blowsion head, ngk br8es plugs.
Blackjack 44s if that plays a part

Piston tops will stay clean until you get them hot. A freestyle ski with big pilots and little full throttle use will have very clean Pistons.
