carb size question

does anyone know what size the stock carbs are on a 2001 xl 700? are all 701's 38 stock.

From what I know they are 38mm. The 760's have 44mm.

robert is correct
all the 701 twin carb engines are 38
single carb is a 44
and the 760 has a set of twin 44s ( which are a very desrible set up for a 701)
