carb rebuild

im rebuilding my carb and on the pump side (side without the diaphragm) Its a mikuni 44 . When i took it apart there was one gasket and one other thing that looked like a gasket but was rubber ... in my rebuild kit i would have 2 gaskets left over if i put it back together the way it was... need some help! do i only use one gasket? or does someone have some help for me?

no worries, they put in extra parts to cover the different models
