650/X-2 carb and pipe install tomorrow. Some assistance please..

Going to install a 44mm mikuni and westcoast pipe. Couple quick questions. I read that there is a posibility of blowing a motor if you have 1/2 a tank or so and its starts to pull air. Leans it out and then boom.. Should I only pull from the reserve and just block off the main line?? I am putting in all new fuel lines anyways. Also does anyone know how the carb should be set for high and low adjustments.. I was told this came off a runing ski and should be plug and play, no issues. Got it from Rob at Jetski Haven. I just wanted a base line to check and verify the settings it has.

Also if I run just off the reserve line and block off the main line should I tap into the reserve for the primer line or should I tap into the blocked off main line??

Pull from the reserve, and for the primer, either works or you can tap the return as well.

Thanks. evverything istalled but problem with Throttle cable.. Not even close.. Dose someone make a braket for the 44mm carb on a 650sx.
