Cape May NJ canal open to PWC?

I was told today that the Cape May canal is now open to PWC as of July 1st

Not sure but the coastgaurd guy at corsons told me the may be making it a free ramd because the state cant afford it anymore.

the biggest waves/ swells i have ever seen in my life were off the tip of cape may, where the atlantic and the deleware bay meet, it was during a fishing trip when the tides were changing, i want to hit that up this summer, dont know about the canal though

they just opened a free ramp at the bride going into cape may, it is 100 yards away from the canal. so if the canal is open you can take it out to the Delaware river and then to the point or turn right and go through the cape may bay out to the ocean.
