Cable Maintenance Question

I am pulling the SJ out of storage this week :woot: . I picked up a cable luber, but searching over at PWCToday I found people using WD40, silicone spray etc. Should I use something heavier, what do you use to lube your cables?

Nate, I just give a shot of silicon lubricant on everything. I used to use WD 40, no problems with it. Then I picked up this silicone lubricant spray and have been using this with no problems as well.

Thanks Alex, I'll go with that. I just assumed something heavier to stand up to constant water / moisture.
