c clip question /sir clip?

putting a cylinder on my friends ski. should i use the oem cclips to hold piston pin in or can you use the one that looks liks like a c and has two holes on each side?

oem, thats really not a clip you want to have any trouble with.

It's probably one of those parts with an extremely high potential damage to actual part cost ratio.
