Custom/Hybrid buy a couch to power a custom hull

I finished the build of the sx in my sig and now im addicted to building. I want to get a custom hull and power it with a modded 701 and build up from there as i progress. I would hate to cannabilize a sj with nice skis getting harder and more costly to come by. so i was thinking about picking up a yami couch and canabilizing it. my question is will it be more of a hassle than its worth is the engine the only thing i can use? what about the pump? Any ski you would recommend to do the swap? Is a 760 worth investigating? ive read the porting isnt suited for freestyle?

a wave raider motor is a good start, then put a 61x cylinder on it. A vxr pro is also a good start.

The things that you will still need out of a superjet are motor mounts, midshaft, and driveshaft. the rest of the pump should work. Although some wear rings on couches are not threaded.
