crap waves, grey skies and going too slow...

i might as well have titled this Broke Back Mountain 2 based on my piss poor riding performance and aching back..

nothing tires me out like like trying to carry speed in bouncy surf like that. that made my back start aching just watching

i've never understood the fascination with running minus 43" poles.

Can you say.., huge workout, my entire body is in pain!

Hey, good ridin bro.

I like to see a variety of JS videos. Although impressive, sometimes I get bored with guys that do nothin but flips.

In surf, you got to set up wider on the bouy to account for movement by the surf....... The bouy is never where you want it to be when you want it to be there.

yea i though i was going too wide but would end up almost missing the buoy...my pole at -2.5" is too short for that....i need to go back to -1.5"...its hurting my riding and my back...it was super sloppy out there..hard to get a flow going..

I love racing in the surf!!!!!!!! Never fails, you got a good sweeping line on a bouy, just as you get to it the bouy starts pushing or pulling with the current. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it hurts...........

Keeps you on your toes.

Back in 03 (I think), We were racing in FT Walton, Was heading out to the back stretch, that happened to sit on the sandbar, as I was coming up to the bouy a wave started to break, jumped, when I cleared the bouy had pushed over about 5 ' and was right under me!!!!!!!!!! These were the really large bouys. They did not move, your ski moved if you hit them!!!!!!!!!!!!
