Building a superjet

Ok... i was planning on buying a superjet hull and building an engine. I have a yamaha 650 engine out of a VXR that i was going to send to SBT or somewhere to be redone. Is this my best and cheapest option or should i spend some more money to get the 760 engine. For both of these engines what parts should i run to get max performace as in, prop, carbs, exhaust, etc.
