So I'm not well off and I can't afford an aftermarket hull used or new. However I'm pretty good at building things and fiberglass body work. I have a 1998 kawi sxi 750 bored out to a 770. I love my ski and I want to do more FR/FS stuff. I've seen some guys cut their hulls down a little bit.
So basically I'm looking for two things. First if I modify my current hull where should I shorten it at and how much?
Second does anyone know how to find the dimensions or specs of aftermarket hulls so I could use them as a guideline for what I'm trying to do?
I'm sure it's doable and I'm confident I just want more knowledge before I start this winter project.
