broken gas tank

Screwed up a roll off a cruiser wake and broke the fill inlet on my tank.

Is this a freak thing? TL and Race gas has me nervous about internal fill

Should I throw a new tank in it and roll,or get a internal fuel filler?

If you broke the fill inlet on your tank, how would you block it off without leaking to run internal fill...you may want to just replace it, sounds like a freak thing to me.
