Bringing ski from Canada to USA

Picking a ski up in BC this week and bringing it back to Washington. Has anyone gone over the border with a ski? Not sure if I need import docs or just title/regi and bill of sale.

I did the opposite, from Washington to bc. I'm pretty sure they didn't ask for any papers at all. Only purchace price..they only cared about me paying duty.
