Bpipe Modified Chamber??????? huh!!

Halo all, how do you know wheter youv got a mod chamber on ur ski?(ive got a bpipe on my freestyle ski and a mod pipe on my blaster) can I swop the 2 chambers or where can I c the difference in rpm/hp curves....????:noevil:

A Superjet B-Pipe Mod is a different chamber than a Waveblaster Mod chamber.
On a Blaster, the difference between mod and limited should be clear: the mod chamber sort of wraps around the motor and mounts to the flywheel cover. The limited chamber does not wrap around.
On a Superjet, the mod chamber is about 1 inch or so shorter than the otherwise identical looking limited chamber.

Also, an early SJ mod chamber will have a weld line around the thickest point where it was shortened. Later models were fabricated short in the first place and don't have the weld. Point is: if it's welded, it's definitely a mod.

blaster mod chamber will fit into sj pretty easily- did mine not too long ago- must melt and make small dent in fuel tank and do a little hammering on chamber to clear side of hull, but not a whole lot of work really- i had normal sj mod in mine first- cant tell difference did a lot of mods along with chamber and carbs were way too rich needed to be rejetted- this was last ride of this year till lake warms up- sj mod pipe sounded a whole lot louder and cooler in my opinion- blaster chamber made boat very quiet/ stock sounding (read lame)- whoops forgot- had to grind down side of hull support rib a little- took 1 minute with air buffer and hydroturfed side of chamber just to make sure it didnt rub on hull- it does look cool though:biggthumpup:

Thanx yamahammer! But im baffled whether itl make a huge diffs on only a 760cc big bore.... if its 1/2 hp more im not very keen?ha

the ONLY reason i did it was because i had one laying around since im going to a new drypipe on my blaster:biggrin: - otherwise i wouldnt have done it
