bought a beach cart today...

its too wide so i have to make it narrower but for 50 bucks i think i got a good deal.

Not bad at all. You have something to work off of and those tires will work in the soft sand and anything else so I say you got a hades of a deal. Some people call it hell but, I call it hades. If you were in the new freeride capital of FL I would see if you wanted to sell it.:biggrin:

the U is going to be the only problem. there are pipes that are in the middle to keep the distance from the bunks. they only site in a pocket so i would have to cut them. then theres a threaded rod in the middle which holds the sides together.

For the U portion, cut it down the middle and then cut equal distance off either side that you have left. The join them back together by sistering a piece of metal on each side (also known as a lap joint). You can drill and bolt vs. welding if you don't have a welder.

That is what I did. Cut a 4" peice from the middle of the U section, and got it welded back together. They I just cut 4" off the three tubes, and it works wonderful.

These are awesome carts, so if you ever want to get rid of it, PM me...:biggthumpup:

well my father decided that he wants to use it for fishin on the beach now. so we are rigging up 2 bunks in the middle of it. this way he can still stick his coller in the middle when the bunks are out.
