Blaster bottom hull mounted battery /quick dissconnect

made some changes , went with deka 9 battery , looks like a perfect battery at 6 lbs , cut down a raider battery box cause thats what I had , drilled holes in box to increase bond , cleaned and abraded everything real well , installed quick disconnect cable ends on batt cables and starter cable and ground , then I installed quick disconnect on my jumpers along with regular clamps ''' I keep these in my seat'', I tightened the rubber battery strap hoop clamp on the rear of the batt box so the strap wont always fall off in the rear but its still easy to remove if it breaks and needs changed , this was all done to remove some weight from the stock ''car size oem '' battery LOL and and lower the center of gravity a little . pic of my quick disconnect cables , I also installed 2 new rule bilges on a thin piece of rubber , this lays in the bottom wedged in the rear of the hull behind the batt and it easily comes out as a unit for service , I then installed new flotation , about 10 pieces 2 .5 cubic ft of noodles in the front , this stuff wedges in place and compresses for easy TIGHT installation '''it wont come out even if the hood blows off '' this stuff is great IMO , Ill put a bunch more in the rear due to removing the orig foam when I installed rear sponsons long ago . these are now removed for playing in the waves . 10 tubes weigh 3 lbs total , tubes are made of solid polyethelene '' no hole in the center g-1 battery foam 009.jpgg-1 battery foam 008.jpgg-1 battery foam 013.jpgg-1 battery foam 010.jpgg-1 battery foam 011.jpg
