Blaster BN 44 vs SBN 44

Ok, hope ya'll can pass on a little wisdom...

After making the assumption that my 95 WB1 had a SBN on it and ordering a rebuild kit, i just double checked and realized it has the square body BN44. :doh:

Can anyone explain in short terms the difference?

I've canceled my order for the rebuild kit. Is the difference big enough that I should ditch the BN and pick up an SBN???

Hope ya'll can help a noob out, i'm learning every day.

You had it right....SBN mikuni's are all square body carb's. The older BN carbs are round bodies(which are total crap, hard to tune, no changeable jets) which came on 550's and such. SBN square bodies are oem on most yami's so re-order that kit and get back on the water brotha!
