here is just some pics of a customers FP1 in New Zealand, thought i would share ....will get some hulls over to the US some day so you can see what i think makes a good surf boat ... cheers



Although it looks like a SJ , everything has been changed the tray is bigger than a FR2 as i pushed the tray wider onto the rail, and made them narrower , the lifters are my own design and go al the way to the outer wall to add support , mine is the one of few ski's on the market with a front pin arrangement ....i can't stand not being able to pull a ski up the beach or trailer with out the rail... Super freak and KOng hulls have the rail but i wanted the stock bolt style for tie down and towing i love SJ supersets 08 , just not the bad side of nose dives and slow flips and narrow tray act act

SKi rails are the same as a stock super jet don't have the specs on me but is is 2.075 m long

Nice work on the ski! Don't know if you have already posted a video,but be nice to see it in the surf.

the flat water one is just the same but has 100mm off the back i think that is 4 inches, it very different to an XFS may be better for small surf as it turns and rides well at speed but does not slide as well as an XFS , but with smaller chines this may be better ...its give and take LOL just trying new things

Pete, what does a ready to ride an FP1 sell for in NZD? I may end up living in Taupo soon.

not sure what the exchange rate is but they are $5950 AUS dollars just for the hull includes hood LOL, the best bet if you are in the states and moving over is import a standard SJ with all the bits on it from the states as if you are immigrating they won't charge you import duty or GST. It would be $300 to $500 to get it there the best way is if i just flew over with it as luggage LOL the hull that is , pm me you email and i can do some prices for you if you want a complete new ski , or a reco with new hull freestyle.pete@hotmail.com

the front water deflector i made works great to keep the water out of your face also you just can't beat a large tray with deep padded lifters ...not the biggest fan of adjustable lifters as you loose foam in the side wall and also flotation ...just my thoughts
