Blowsion Cover?

They just started selling those last year. I would assume the quality is fine. It's probably cut to the same pattern as an OEM cover though. Fire 'em an email.

I've been looking for a SN cover, but obviously the only ones out there are fugly early '90s colors. It would be nice to have one for long road trips.

Description says it's cut different to handle wider bars and shorter poles.... just wondering about quality (i.e. feedback) so I don't buy one to find the zipper lasts a year or stitching is subpar.

The blowsion Cover looks like a Covercraft with their Logo on it. Covercraft makes a nice fitting cover.

I like the slippery covers to they heavier nylon than the OEM and they have a zipper in the back so you can stow stuff in the tray for travel.:purr:

Why do you need a cover? I could see if you had a Kaw you would want to cover it so people couldn't see it but why a SJ?

LOL

For trailering and storing wet stuff in the tray when doing so..... Also, time to time my skis get left outside and I live in a wooded area so leaves and all that crap get into places you don't want them to.

I have that exact cover and it fits my straight bars and short pole perfect. It has a zipper so you can have access to the tray area also.

I would buy it again.

The slippery ones are super nice, they are very heavy duty, have a zipper for the tray area to throw your chit in there and a zipper opening so you can gas it while covered (not sure why you would want to) and they come in cooler colors!

But will they fit over modded steering?

Not sure what the deal is with modded steering. :dunno:

My roundnose has a -2 XMW pole, straight XMW bars, and I use an OEM cover without problems.

I've got two of these covers for my SN's and Yamacat is right, they are Covercraft. Justjetski has them in both blue and aqua Glen-Tuf fabric. The cost from them is $75 for either the SN or RN but it won't come with the Blowsion logo. For $112, you can get the Sunbrella fabric which is a little thicker. I like the lighter fabric which is still durable and provided good protection when trailered. They fit with both standard and shortened poles, standard and wide 0 degree bars with room to spare.

I read somewhere that the bars are too far forward and wide to fit in where the original pockets were.... I'm at -4" pole with -2.5" turnplate :dunno:

So then I can go the cheaper route and save $25 shipping for a cover from Blowsion.

I would like one also, but not willing to part with $100+ to test on -4" pole and -2.5" steering.

You try and let me know how it works.:cheer:

I bought two Slippery covers last year for my RN and SN SJ. I wanted matching covers and they fit nicely over the UMI 0' degree bars along with the -2 pole on each ski. The RN cover fits the SN except the fuel cap access opening is on the side of the nose.

The Slippery covers are tan and black in color, totally understated and plain which is nice when you don't want to bring attention to the skis when you are parked somewhere. My friends Kawi SXR cover screams "Look at me".

I have a OEM RN Yamaha cover that looks great, but the wide bars ripped a hole in the seam the second time I trailered with it on. No problems with the Slippery covers yet (knock on wood). Parker Yamaha had some good deals on the Slippery covers when I bought mine.

I have a slippery cover i think im at -3 stock pole, wammer short plate and straight bars and the cover realy doesnt fit, it fits but not really. I think if i had a aftermarket hood it would fit fine.
