Blaster intake grate and ride plate for surf, see pics

I have some parts sitting on the self and am wondering what you guys think?
The Black one is a Solas and the other is R&D
I do have 2 blasters... one is surf only and the other goes both ways

What about the ride plate for surf? Don’t a lot of guys just use the stock one?

I would say that R&D grate would work better all around. I used to run the solas one, it was allright but not as good as my worx.

I think I will put the R&D on the surf biotch and the Solas on the other.

I just bought that Solas off Ebay and it doesn't look very deep. I would use the deeper of the two for the surf ski. As for the plate, a stocker is tough to beat in the surf. I'd use the aftermarket one for the "not so surf" ski.

Yea I did too, but I bet I paid more for mine! :banghead: :banghead:

$38 is what I paid. I figured it was worth a try even at $50.
