blaster factory pipe limited ?'s

o.k. need a little help from the blaster gods..
just picked up a fpp with a limited chamber, however its missing the mounting and the stinger among a few misc pieces that i have. but was wondering how nessasary is the stinger? i'm using the stock waterbox for now, don't know if it makes a difference. how much of a p i a is it going to be to get this stuff from factory pipe? is something i can p/u locally, maybe a hardware or marine, or auto parts store? any help would be great!! thanks

You say its missing the stinger ? Has it snapped off ?
You need it to be fitted otherwise it affects the design of the pipe, ie ths sound waves from the motor, thus affecting the performance.
Brackets should be available from any FP dealer.

I have the limited pipe in my Blaster. Show us some pics, I'm not sure what you mean by the stinger is missing? There is a fitting in the stinger for a cooling line. Is that what is missing? There is an aluminum pipe that connects the stinger end of the chamber to the waterbox. Is that what is missing? What mount is missing? The welded piece on the pipe or the pieces that connect the pipe to the head? Post pics and we will be able to help you out. As for the waterbox, if yours doesn't leak with the increased back pressure from the new pipe you should be fine. Mine started to leak so I replaced with a TDR "Standard" box. Good Luck!

There is an aluminum pipe that connects the stinger end of the chamber to the waterbox.

thats whats missing, also the mount that mounts to the gas tank strap mount for the expansion chamber. i'll have to post picks up later. thanks for all the help!

You should be able to order those. Call Factory Pipe or a distributor. Or ask on this forum. It is possible someone could have them.

thanks san! i really only need the stinger and bolt mount as i have the rubber lord piece. was hoping to find them used!!! but i'll email factory pipe
