I am trying to get a bilge pump into my 750sx
The first bracket did not fit at all (unless I removed the waterbox)
The second bracket fit, but when I attached a Rule 500 on it, either the wiring was rubbing on the drive shaft or the output hose rubbed.
I ended up breaking the little basket on the bottom of the pump trying to get it to fit in the ski.
Does anyone know how to make this work? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I am about ready to epoxy the pump to the hull in front of the engine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

1. Bilge Pump needs to be at the REAR of the engine int he back somewhere. Because thats where all the water goes when you ride.

2. Marine 4200 or 5200 the bracket tot he hull and be done with it

bilge

I know what you mean with the problem, i have a 96 sxi. The way it is set up now, the screws for the bottom piece for the pump are screwed into the battery tray ( near the bottom ) then the pump attaches to the little pump tray piece, and a hose runs under the drive shaft. ill try to get a pic here soon to explain it better.

yup, a front bilge really does nothing. Like said above, just 5200 the basket to the hull. I have a 750sx with dual 500s, one on each side of the driveshaft, and exits on each side.

View attachment 20123 Sorry its not very good, my battery is a bugger to get out, and weights like 20 pounds. But you can see the battery and the bilge ( white thing ) right next to it, which is almost on the bottom of the hull. My hose runs to my left side of the ski, so it goes under the drive shaft and up the other side.
