Super Jet Big bore 850 keep the 9/15 blowsion cut back prop or try a stock 08 sj prop?

The boat now feels pretty darn good but it had almost a powerband light switch feel. If you are carving and give it to much throttle it will turn on and spin out almost. I am wondering if the motor might be spinning the 9/15 and the pump takes a sec to load then the thrust hits all at once. Isnt the stock sj prop like a 13/18 or something and would possibly load the pump faster and get it to have more bottom for more pop off setup wakes? Also helping the on off switch effect the 9/15 has now. Or is the cut back 9/15 just all around better. I have the new 08 sj prop just sitting on the shelf.

I thought the 9/15 hooker and stock 08 prop were very similar because of the different hub sizes even though the pitches are so drastically different. That 9/15 is a really low prop to be running on an 850... My speedwerx BB 785 had instant power with the 9/15 and didn't spin but the problem was, I was running out of juice too fast. A taller prop would've been better even for me at that time.

Ok thanks for the reply I didn't realize the hubs are different. I might bend the 9/15. I should play with the pipe before I spend $300 on a new prop.
