Best way to ship a hood?

I need to ship a hood, minimum dimension for the inside of a box will be 36 x 21 x 9, which automatically bumps it into a mandantory 2nd day air shipment for UPS. :aargh4: I also need to ship a tank to the same location. I'd prefer to ship both together, in a box that's 36 x 26 x 20 and weighs 32 pounds. This is going from florida to Tennessee.

What's the cheapest way to ship this thing? Do I need to ship the hood & tank seperately?

Go to a U-Haul store for boxes (they have a bunch of larger boxes for good prices) and use FedEx Ground for shipping (Fedex/Kinko's stores). You should probably do it in two differnent boxes, but because they are going to the same address, they may provide a discount.

i go dumperster diving. make your own box. the last one i shipped ups i didnt even use a box put fragile sticker on it.
