Super Jet Best way to deal with stripped brass pump hull insert?

What are you guys doing to fix a stripped pump hull insert on a Superjet these days?

Replace it with a new one

Its on a old square nose. Im not gonna cut into the ski. Im just looking for a quick, good fix, like a heli coil/timesert kind of thing. Anymore suggestions?

you can drilled out and re tap, you can drill almost all the way thru the turf, and put some silicone in the threads,and you be alrite

helicoil repair for me every time - just be careful not to drill too far through the insert into the tray
