Freestyle Best underpad for locking in holds

I'm looking at getting new holds that are designed to have 25mm padding on the top and bottom. Do you guys think the regular gray padding would hold you in better because it's stiffer or would the black plush padding work better because it would allow you to kick in further?

I've ridden too many years with loose holds but have since gotten the oppurtunity to ride a few ski's with kick in holds and really like the security/confidence that it gives me.

I would say 25mm it would take up more room in the hold but when u kick in it should fit like a glove!

John , the grey will go flat on the bottom if you go big. You can use it on the top (roof) of wing , it's lighter and easier to shape but it can't handle the heat so it needs to stay out of the kitchen.

Do you remember what you used on the black superfreak in Daytona? Those holds were perfect!

John , check out Tom21 or Tobbys (615) foot holds , I hear that they are very nice and will be priced right . The carbon epoxy ones we do are expensive .
