Best prop and pitch for SJ freeride

It's a good idea to call Impros with questions like this. One thing to keep in mind is what mods you plan to do - you don't want to be buying a new prop when you've spent a bunch of money on something else. I run a Solas Concord cut back and re-pitched to 13-15: I love it. I ran that with a B-pipe and it worked great, and is still good for my ported motor.

the solas 3mm cutback 13/16 concord seems to be the most popular but i am wondering what scat-trak prop is comparable to this pitch and design. it must be the swirl but are the 13/16 swirls the same as solas concords?

I had a Skat-Trak Swirl 13/18 Impeller that weighed 2.5lbs; it gave very good bottom end acceleration and topped out at 6950rpm. I just switched it to a 1.8lbs Solas Concord 13/18 cut back 3mm and lost some bottom end but made a huge improvement in mid range acceleration. It tops out at 6850rpm but seems like it’s faster at the top end? The Scat-Trak Swirl blades are longer, thicker and weighs is a lot more.D-Roc said:

7100 rpm top end, and as good of bottom end as I think I could get with a stock 650.
it should be a ROCKET out of the hole with a 701.

12/15 concord eh, will i mod out this prop in the future or is this a prop that can handle some power. I got my scat from dave, very impressed, fast service so that is a no brainer, looks like i will go with what you guys are running.

ive got a solas concord 13/17 cut 3mm and repitched to 13/15 on mine and absolutely love it. at first i was afraid of the top end loss but let me tell you that my ski is still plenty fast and totally kicks a** off of the hole. my ski is nearly stock and people use this same prop on piped and ported skis too.
