I like the Solas IJK seriers 13/18-- best prop for the money, I think. A skat 8/16 would prob also rip in that boat.

Skat 9-17 will help more with the low end
A 9-17 will be close, maybe even perfect depending on the port height, compression, and pipe length. 650s become very sensitive to load once the operating RPM has been raised. You need to be able to tune the pump so that it gets on the pipe quick enough.

Stop while you're ahead and buy a big pin 750 engine. A stock high port 750 with that 650 Factory Pipe will make as much power as the hottest race gas 650s, with much better reliability.

I would think a highly modded 650 would burn more fuel than a 750 with a pipe. My buddies 650 was ported, pipe, carb, and burned a ton of gas.
