I have been tossing around the idea of mounting a strap back there...
looks like it's not in the way of the hold...

It's just about perfect for my size 9.5 wrastlin' shoes. It might get in the way of can-can and nuthin landings but we'll see. I'm still in no shape to be testing all that yet :banghead:

i should take a pic of my setup..i run the strap IN the foothold but more sideways i think you could still use bothfootwells if you wanted to..kinda different..works good though..i dont really like it in the middle for some reason but alot of people do...i guess cause i learned to ride int he foothold..

Nice ski btw

I can carve better w/ my foot more in the middle, out of the hold...

I think the reason why is: my foothold extends all the way to the outer wall of the gunwale. So puting my foot all the way in there for surf stance rolls and carving feels off balance... My tray is as wide as an SXR tray now... It's huge

Yeah I was always wanting to pull my rear foot out of the footwell a couple inches. This strap pulls my foot back further than I'd like so I'm going to sandwich some nuts below the strap to allow me to move my foot a little more forward in it.

Ski looks awsome!!! What happened that you can ride it??
My knees had me down all Spring then got back in the water to figure out my foam was wet :banghead: Gave me an excuse to returf with more padding for my feet I guess  See you in three weeks!
