Good Morning,

What is everyone's favorite battery to run? I have a small battery in my other ski since I have a limited slip tank. At the moment in my new ski I have a oem Yamaha battery box. I am just pondering if I should just get another small battery so that way they are interchangeable between both skis. If I do this I will have to figure some way to get the battery to not slide all around in that big oem battery tray. I do not have the straps yet as I must have used them for a previous build. What's everyone's thoughts?

Deka 9, firm foam blocks superglued in place to prevent shifting, tie knot in regular length battery straps or get shorter straps.

alright i was thinking about that just was undecided. anywhere in particular you got the blocks?

If running stock ignition or enhancer I prefer the DEKA ETX16 which is stock size.

I had them around already but many ski shops sell them like xscream@tampabay.rr.com. I suggest the Deka 9 because you indicated your other ski has LS tank that could interchange battery if needed in a pinch. Deka 9's are rated at 120 cca but test much higher. The Duracell 9's from Sam's club are very strong too as evidenced by a cranking amp check on a meter.
