Ok, heres the deal...a buddy bought a 95 blaster at the beginning of summer from an idiot that knew nothing about it, except that it had a 760 in it...
heres what its got on it...
62t case
-factory pipe (mod)
-pro-tec head, (175psi) we are at +1200ft sea level
-billet buckshot carbs (size unknown?)
This thing has never ran very well. Once you get it started, it runs like a raped ape at WOT. Idle is something its pretty much never done. It usually fouled plugs if it tried to idle...
--We realized the friggin fuel lines were wired a little funky, (they had everything t-fitted together until it ran is what it looked like), so we re-did those, re-did all the cooling lines. Ignition is stock. Played with the carbs alot, nothing seemed to actually do much no matter what we did.
--We pulled the reeds out, they were bad, put some new ones in and it honestly still acted the same, just didnt spit fuel back up the carbs lol.
anything we can do to diagnose this? We were thinking those carbs are almost a race carb and thats why they dont like to idle...but, it should still start the ski i would think...
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED......
