B1 steering removal/replacement

Greetings all, I've searched and cannot seem to locate any instructions on replacing the steering assembly on a Waveblaster 1. I'm wondering if it is necessary to remove the upper section of the hood in order to gain access to the bolts on the steering column? It seems this is necessary, so if so, would I just remove the 10 or so bolts underneath the hood that seem to be holding it on?

I hope this makes sense. This has to be a no brainer and I'm missing something!

Yes, you are correct. Remove the cowling, unbolt the steering. It goes together the way you thinj it does.
