B1 ex tube is a beezy!

Anybody have any tips, or tricks for getting the rubber ex tube off the 90* exit fitting by the pump? I've been messin with it, but am messing wrong. Got a blow drier warming it up at the moment.

channel locks and spin it easily.... dont clamp down too hard on the rubber though.


it will pop right off after that. lay some rags around the entrance into the back by the battery box or your arms will be itchy with fiberglass later.

Thanks Motoman25. I put the blowdrier in the ex tube blowing out like ex. Got the tube nice and toasty and soft. Came off with minimal grief after that. I had some channel locks in there earlier and felt I was either going to slightly shred the tubing, or break the fitting. That's when I tried the blowdrier thing.

blow dryer trick sounds good... i wouldn't have thought of that.
