b spec turf questions

first which way is the pattern suppose to go?


i forgot to buy the padding for under the tray, is that something i should get?


so far im only doing some rec riding no surfage yet.

The padding is a very good idea to use, without it, it feels like your standing on a brick. Especially for jumping and freestyle, you dont want to hit the ocean without padding. I always put the diamonds going sideways across the tray, seem to get better traction that way. But yes, I would definately use some kind of padding.

I just picked up some padding from Home Depot. This was suggested by fellow board members.:biggthumpup:

Look for it in the carpet section and it comes as 4 24"x24" interlocking squares grey in color. It doesn't hold water and can be shaped to what ever you may need.
I'm even going to use it as a pole pad.

yea thats what i was hoping for.

im currently wanting to get rid of the purple pole cover and turf the tray this winter.

my father looked at it and said no way its gonna fit alright on the cover.

so idk what to do. i think for right now im gonna look for yamaha blue or black vinyl.
