B pipe questions

bought a used b pipe and the three adjustment screws are not the ones that you would normally use from factory pipe. they have a round head with a bigger allen key size. they screws are all different lengths and one is to long to even work

my question is:

can you use an alternate screw for those adjustment screws or should i just buck up and buy three new ones of the right screw and if thats the case where can i buy those at?

Sounds like someone just drilled and tapped the pipe and installed set screws for the adjusters. Someone does sell screws on the X for this fix all though I see a big problem with these being installed. The water injection hole that you are trying to adjust is a pin hole and if you drill and tap the pipe for the adjuster screws and are off a half of degree from the injection hole you will not hit the injector hole with the adjuster and possibly have no adjustment with the screws and probably never know unless you try to close all the screws and see if the pipe gets hot.

I think allot of people have probably done this and have no idea they have no water adjustment on there new screws.
