b pipe injection settings

where does everyone find that their b pipe adjustors work the best for them?

and post your cooling routing. single or dual.

for the past couple years, ive been running single cooling and the top screw out one turn and the middle and bottom all the way in. the chamber never even came close to a sizzle, but i was hesitant to close it any more.

now im running dual cooling (same as stock but with addtl line in manifold and head), should i consider closing the top a little more for increased bottom end? will the adjustment from 1 turn out down to less than one turn out even be noticable?

I'm looking forward to the responses. I'm in the process of restricting my water flow to get temps up. My motor was running at 105 degrees today - a little cool. I'm thinking the pipe is the same - I've got no sizzle with the bottom and middle closed and top 3/4 of a turn out.

I run 2 lines off the pump: one to a single manifold fitting and two pissers from the head, and the second line for the pipe with its own pisser. I don't need all that water flow, but I do like to have the cylinders separate from the pipe since it seems my pipe has a habit of stopping up (which may be cured now I've fished the bullet out...). Three pissers also allows me to monitor each cylinder and the pipe separately which gives me some comfort.

Question the GURU Paul he set mine up when he did my motor. The thing rips now.

BTW - mine is dialed in way better than it was at Lanier now - it wasn't great there and it sucked on Saturday. It's rippin' now, and I think I have some more to get out of it. Pipe is the next tuning project.

Some may say this is too hot, but I run the top screw out 1/4 turn and the others closed all the way.

I've got dual lines going into my fp manifold, front head out to front of pipe, back of head to a T with the most direct line going to flow control valve - and the other off the boat, and the bottom of the pipe off the boat.

It rips, and I've been running it this way for about 2 years.

I run parallel cooling, and a 4mm restrictor before the bypass.
My screw settings are bottom cracked, middle closed, top open 1/2 turn.
My pipe water temp is about 120 degrees.
HOWEVER, I'm using socket head cap screws with no taper cut on them, so it's totally different. Personally, I think screw settings need to be done at the lake, and will vary from boat to boat.

im picking up a B pipe soon... did a search for cooling routing and this is the best ive found, but how exactly should i set up SINGLE cooling for my B pipe? I am also unfamiliar with the location of fittings on the pipe for water, is there one at the manifold and one at the stinger? thats all? or one at the manifold, one stinger, and a bypass by the stinger, 3 total? a diagram would rock! and uhh..... are all the 'screws' on the head pipe?

top and mid closed
bottom open 3/4 of a turn
water from both ends of the head to the bottom of the header pipe
and then out the top of the header pipe to the pisser
take a t of that line and put a 4 mil restricter to the stinger on the pipe

The general rule is the wetter, the better the bottom ( within reason of course) What I have found is top 1/2 to 5/8 , Mid 3/8 to 1/2 & the bottom closed. some porting will work better with a hotter pipe & ambient water temp also plays a factor.................

So, play with your set-up to see what works best for you.
everyone will be differant

i thought the bottom screw is for top end and the top screw for bottom end. thats what the general concensus seems to be.

also, a jetworks flow control valve works wonders over a restrictor, i have found.

i have found if you run the b-pipe to wet the power is to short
i open the bottom up to let it pull through the mod more
but then i ride in waves so prefer that
if i was just flat water freestyle i may look at other settings
The jetworks valve didnt work for me but that doesnt mean it doesnt work
