B-Pipe Coupler issues... ???

Dudes , out on my ski today , 5 minutes tray time and engine started to splutter and fade... Arter "another" long swim back in (i`m getting better at the auld swimming) , the only problem i could see was that the silicone coupler had worked its way out from under the rear hoze clip at one point , just a bulge really... My question is this , would this be enough to kill an engine with an Ada head and a B-Pipe , or do i need to keep looking for the problem..? (I fitted new plugs , retightened the coupler , and the ski runs again , on the trailer) Thanks..

The exhaust leaking around the coupler is what killed your engine. Get the coupler tightened with some good stainless clamps and you should be fine.
