Nearing the end of a Superjet build and trying to button up the exhaust now that the engine is taken care of. The ski originally had a dual exhaust and Pro-tec pipe but I opted to switch to a factory to run with a girdled head. My dilemma is that the limited mod chamber is longer than the Pro-tec, and wants to force my waterbox up into the dual exhaust outlet just to get my hoses on. The dual exhaust leaves me with less room up front and also changes the connection angle slightly to the hoses on the carb side.
While I don't need a front exhaust, I'd prefer not to do the glass work this season if there's a different waterbox option that would solve my dilemma. I am just barely able to get all hoses on to make it functional, but I have a Wamiltons carbon fiber box and am nervous that any amount of riding will cause it to get soft spots since it's crammed in there. Has anyone else run a b-pipe with dual exhaust?
