ATP steering on Xmetal pole

I briefly discussed this once prior. Who all here has installed an ATP steering system to the xmetal adjustable pole? Did you have to drill out the chinpad in order to set it down a bit further to clear? Any adjustments needed to be made to the Xmetal pole system? any thoughts?

My riding buddie has installed the small Thrust Steering on a XS Pole without a problem and it worked fine.
Thinking the ATP Steering is from measurements very similar to the Ti Steering.

I think he was the one who gave me info last year. Seeing if anybody else has any feedback on this setup. In addition, any buddy have any feedback on the anodizing. Deciding between colors or just simple and black
