Just finished my Tiger Craft Aquabot V2 build and so far I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I ordered the hull back in the end of September and received it about the second week of December, about 12-13 weeks wait time, not too bad for an aftermarket hull considering this is a new design over the V1 hull and my build time included Tony and his guys making new molds and assembling my hull. I originally ordered white gel coat, but before my hull was laid I changed my mind and went with black, which I'm glad I did. Tony had some problems with the first hood and had to go back and start almost from scratch, so I ended up getting my hood a few weeks after my hull. I kinda freaked about this at first, mostly because I wanted to test it last weekend before Daytona, but looking at it now the end result was worth the wait. The quality on the hull and hood is really great, especially for the price I paid. I think it looks just as good as more expensive hulls. Zimmy and I assembled the ski in his garage, with him doing a TON of the work while I wasn't around. If it weren't for him, it wouldn't have been done by now. As far as the build process, the ski was pretty easy to assemble. The hood opening on the V2 is pretty big, making getting your arms down in the hull not much of a problem. Everything fit and lined up pretty good, save for having to use a pile of shims to align the motor, but nothing out of the ordinary. An option I went with on this hull was a deep front foothold. After riding a couple other bots I knew I needed more room for my stance. It makes mounting the ebox kinda tough but it's totally worth it, as I have the same tray length as an SXR with the front hold. All in all I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out. Communication got a little thin for a while towards the end and had a few issues getting the hood, but those are minor faults in the big picture. I think once Tony gets everything going and starts pumping these hulls out the wait time will go down and the customer service will improve. I would recommend this hull to anyone else who is looking for a great AM hull for a great price. Whatever the wait, it has been worth it.
