FYI......

If you read my thread about Rattle can jobs, I had said I had a 3rd color that I wasn't sure what it was (it was out in my truck). Well turns out it was the SS I had because it looked closer to the color I wanted over the two tones of tan they make in it. Well I tested it and didn't like the results, it looked similar to the silver on those $1 lotto cards you scratch off. Also note, the SS and two tan colors they make in the Appl. epoxy are NOT gloss.

This totally screwed me on the design I was going for with only black & white being in gloss.

I was afraid of that silver NOT being gloss.

Nevermind then, I did some testing with just black and white last night, and it will work.

My boat will look like the damn batmobile.

Stealth squarenose.

I painted the inside of my hull and the bottom sides w/ that rattle can Epoxy Appliance paint... It is by far the best stuff I have ever used out of a can... no doubt... It hardens up like a mo-fo and stays pretty glossy too

smart move staying away from the stainless paint! its flat which might not looks so bad, but it goes on much differnt than the white or black. dries instantly and almost turns to powder before it lands on the surface. came out terrible! sanded it all back down and went with all white... maybe i got a defective can but if not, the stainless sucks!!

thanks for the feedback.

the black works well, IM about to experiment with some clears over it, to try and make the bottom durable enough.

its glossy, I might even try to wax and buff it.

I was able to chip it with a screwdriver though.

I guess I wont be riding with my tool belt any more.

don't spray it with a regular can of clear. Waveblaster069 sprayed his appliance eppoxxy paint with a clear, and it cracked and bubbled. I guess it was becuause he mixed paint types.
